Our Story: Nice to meet you. I'm João. I've always had a strong entrepreneurial streak — at the age of 16, I was already active, looking to create my own businesses. But the seed of Cadê Minha Skin (CMS) was planted at a time of reconstruction. In mid-2020, I suffered a huge financial blow after a partnership that didn't work out. Needing to reinvent myself and seek new opportunities, I decided to dive into the world of photography. I bought my first setup: a trusty Canon SL2 and a classic 50mm lens. The Pain that Became a Solution As I have always been extremely careful with my equipment, I was terrified of seeing my new camera scratched. I went looking for protection and found some custom skins on AliExpress. The problem? At that time, I didn't have the financial means to import, and waiting for months for shipping was discouraging. That's when everything clicked. I thought: "If I need this, but I'm faced with the price and the delay, why not learn how to produce it here in Brazil, charging a fair price and delivering it much faster?" From A4 Paper to Brazil Anyone who thinks we started producing perfect skins for cameras is wrong. Our first steps were with cell phone skins. Our "factory" was modest: we only had a common Epson home printer and A4 size adhesive sheets. But the dedication to detail and the quality of what we did began to attract attention. Demand increased and we seized the opportunity to evolve. We reinvested in the business, brought in state-of-the-art printers and expanded our capacity for larger print runs. Finally, we were able to apply our technology where the idea was born: in cameras, lenses, drones and notebooks.
